Last night, we elected our officers for 2012 and the installation will be happening this Saturday @ 1pm at the lodge. This is open to the public, and we hope to see everyone there!

All Master Masons of Herndon Lodge are encouraged to attend this last stated meeting in 2011. At this meeting we will be holding elections for the 2012 slate of officers.  We hope to see you there.

All Fellowcrafts and Master Masons are welcome to assist in conferring the Fellowcraft degree to two candidates. Starts promptly at 7 PM. See you then!

We had a great degree last night. Thanks to the cast and to everyone who came out to supported our Brethren.

Here is a list of the District 2 and District 4 installations:

Brethren and their families are invited to attend the first official visit of 2012 of the Grand Master’s on January 7. It will be held in the beautiful and historic Winchester Hiram Lodge. This is a joint communication with Districts 2, 3 and 4. Proceedings will begin with finger food at 1:30 pm, then a tiled lodge at 2 pm (during which time our ladies and guests will receive a tour of the facility and be entertained by a choral group), then following with dessert. Business attire is in order and the cost will be $10 per person.

Herndon Lodge Brethren, friends, and families made a recent trip to the George Washington National Memorial in Alexandria, VA. The weather was a little iffy, but the tour of the Memorial was outstanding.   Stops were made in the several apartments of the Memorial including the replica of George Washington’s Fredericksburg Lodge room,  North and South Lodge rooms, and up onto the tower’s observation deck. The fellowship continued at King Street Blues with a great meal.
