The Beehive has been adopted as a Masonic symbol of industry to provide a vehicle that enables, encourages and promotes Masons to seek more light across the spectrum of Freemasonry through self-improvement.
A ‘Gathering at the Hive’ is a meeting on the 3rd Monday of every month from 5:30pm until 7:10pm at the Herndon Lodge in Herndon, Virginia where various articles of Masonic observance & implementation are discussed. It’s to encourage those in attendance to not only learn the philosophical nature of Freemasonry, but more importantly, to be able to demonstrate an understanding via presentations as well as being charitable towards mankind by participation in the philanthropic arm of Lodge Committees.
It is the hope that upon completion of the various tasks involved, that the individual Mason will have learned to become more observant of the Craft and it’s teachings.
Who are we? We’re a group of men who meet on the level, act upon the square, and walk uprightly in life. We take good men and make them better by the teachings of Masonry, and work towards brotherly love, relief, and truth.
Beehive Club Starts Meeting at 6:00pm from Monday Jan 21 onwards
Congratulations to Brother Burx Norrod on being elected as the President of the Beehive Club for 2013. The club offers a great opportunity for continuing education and advancement in Masonry, demonstrated by the industry of its members.
Starting from this month, the Beehive Club has moved their meetings to the 3rd Mondays of each month, starting at 6:00pm. All EAs, FCs and MMs are encouraged to attend . The first meeting this year will take place on Monday 21st. Keep up this great work!
