The Herndon Chapter of the Eastern Star has been quietly very active in Temple activities this year. They were there helping with the Lodge clean up, making breakfast for our Open House, and serving wonderful meals for the Stated Communications this year. Other items that the Star handled that should have caught your eye, include new window treatments for all the windows in the Social Hall (including the bathrooms, kitchens, and Bailey room), re-upholstering several of the side chairs, especially noticeable are the 2 now red chairs in the West, and most recently – the addition of an awning to cover the ramp at the back of the building.
