Greetings Brethren …

With winter (finally) behind us a multitude of Masonic activities are on the horizon.  There are many activities in the coming months that will allow all the Brethren to help make a difference in Herndon Lodge.  Lodge cleanup, Herndon Festival, and supporting our Challenger Team are just a few events in our future.

Another way is to become a Catechism Coach.  We have a steady supply of new Masons in need coaching and mentoring.  Interested Masons should contact Bro Al Diplacidi

Also, I’m sorry to say we have had several Brother lay down their working tools in recent weeks.  I’ll send out notices on specifics as needed, but every Brother should make the attempt to pay the last tribute of affection to our lost Brothers, and to support their families through this time of troubles.

Since our last Trestleboard …

  • We passed two new Fellowcraft at our Second Stated meeting where Bro Burx Norrod presented the Senior Deacon’s Lecture for the first time.
  • Many thanks to those who participated in the Sinclair School this past month.  Special thanks to Bro Al DiPlacidi for organizing the Herndon Team, which exemplified the Second part of the Fellowcraft Degree.

Coming this Month …

  • Please join Reston Little League (and our Challenger Team) on Saturday, April 11th, 2015 for our annual Reston Little League Opening Day Parade.  The parade begins at 9:00AM.  Teams will be lining up in the Fountain Parking Garage located on the corner of Library St. and Freedom Dr.  They will march down Market St. towards the Reston Town Square Park (across from Il Fornaio), to a speaker’s stage.
  • District Leadership Conference, 11 April in Warrenton VA.
  • Bro Burx is organizing a Lodge Cleanup Day, Sunday 12 April, 8am til they’re done (Thanks Burx).  Brethren can volunteer to help spruce up the inside and outside of the building.  Volunteers should contact Brother Burx
