RE: Change in location for the November 2011 Grand Annual Communication
Dear Brethren:
This is a reminder that the Grand Annual Communication will be held on November 11-12, 2011. The Communication was originally scheduled to be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Richmond West. However, the Grand Lodge office has just been informed that the Hotel will not be available due to extensive water damage due to Hurricane Irene and the Hotel’s insurance company will not release the rooms in time for our annual communication. On such short notice, we have entered into agreement to hold this year’s Communication at the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa, 12042 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia.
Unfortunately, the Hotel cannot accommodate everyone, due to other functions; therefore, arrangements have been made with three other hotels within a short distance to obtain overflow rooms. The Grand Lodge office will contact all Lodges and individuals who have already made reservations to provide the specific hotel to which these reservations have been moved. The cost of the accommodations will remain the same. Do not contact the Hilton Richmond Hotel with questions concerning your reservation. If you have any questions, please contact the Grand Lodge office. Please communicate this change to your officers and any other members of whom you are aware who will be attending our Annual Communication. Additional information will be posted on our website and sent to various listservs. We apologize for this change in location, which is beyond our control.
